Research Assistant

Kayla Lock is a Research Assistant at the National Ageing Research Institute. She has worked on several projects at NARI as part of the Melbourne Ageing Research Collaboration and Moving Pictures. Research projects Kayla has supported have covered topics such as end-of-life-care, mental health, dementia, and ageism. Kayla is also a PhD student with the University of Melbourne evaluating components of the NHMRC funded IMPART project (Improving palliative care in residential aged care using telehealth). Kayla previously worked in the community sector coordinating social support programs for older people and people living with a terminal illness from a migrant background.
