Our work Resources Implementation Framework for Enabling Technology-Supported Aged Care at Home This framework for use by aged care organisations is designed to support in-home aged care providers with implementation of new health-related technologies. The National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) partnered with leading Australian home care provider Silverchain to develop the framework, as part of the work of the Melbourne Ageing Research Collaboration (MARC). The framework aims to increase the likelihood of successfully integrating technology into in-home aged care by identifying and managing enablers and barriers, and offering practical tips to include in an implementation plan. The framework incorporates seven main themes: Technology Design Factors and Features Privacy, Security and Trust Training and Technical Support Organisational Design and Culture Aspects of Client Care Digital Literacy Perceived Benefits of Technology. An implementation checklist is available, as well as supplementary information providing evidence underpinning the framework.
