Leave a legacy

By including the National Ageing Research Institute in your Will, you will be helping our researchers with their ongoing work into ageing.

Your generosity will also allow us to plan for the long term future with a greater degree of certainty.

How to leave a bequest to NARI in your will

You can leave a bequest to NARI in one of the following ways:

  • Leave a percentage of the value of your estate (share)
  • Leave the residue of your estate or ‘what is left of your estate’ after your family and other beneficiaries have been provided for (residue)
  • Leave a specified amount (special gift).

You may wish to use the following wording in your Will:

I (insert name) give to the National Ageing Research Institute, of 34-45 Poplar Road, Parkville, in the State of Victoria, ABN 71 154 866 047, for its general purposes (share/residue/special gift) of my estate free from all debts (secured or unsecured) or the sum of $(insert value). I declare that the receipt of acknowledgment of its Chief Executive Officer or other authorised officer will be sufficient to discharge the responsibility of my Executors or Trustees in respect of this bequest.

Together we can make a lasting impact on helping people age well.

It would be very helpful if you could please let us know if you are considering leaving a gift to NARI, or have already done so. This will help us plan for the future and ensure that your wishes are respected.
