Since joining NARI in 2013, Kathryn has worked across a range of research areas at NARI. She has worked extensively on translational and innovative resources that allow clinicians working in acute care settings to easily access rigorous, current, evidence based resources on the best practice care of older people.

She has also worked extensively on a collaborative research project exploring the ways Aboriginal community controlled art centres support older artists, Elders and people living with dementia.

She has a background in social and health policy and research, project management and website management.

Kathryn’s research interests include the ways environment and design can improve older people’s health and wellbeing, and the use of language and narratives relating to older people and ageing.

She is also responsible for the development and ongoing management of this website.
