Senior Research Fellow

Liz is a Senior Research Fellow within the Aged Care Division of NARI. Liz is a Registered Nurse with over 30-years of experience as an academic teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses. Liz has extensive experience in curriculum development and has researched and published in the areas urological and continence nursing, health assessment, clinical education, and health issues for people with acute and chronic illnesses. She has a special clinical interest in the care of people with bladder and bowel problems. Liz is a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing and Secretary, Director, and Board member of the Continence Nurses Society Australia.  

Liz is currently working on the development and evaluation of a Massive Online Open Course – Caregiving, Dementia and Incontinence and the IDC-IMPROVE project aimed at improving care of older people in residential care who have a urinary catheter.
