About us Our people Dr Alyson Sweeney RN, BN, MNg Continence, DHlth Honorary Fellow Dr Alyson Sweeney is a Registered Nurse who has specialised in the management of incontinence and care for people with urinary catheters. Her ProfDoc research examined the lived experience of long-term suprapubic catheterisation and resulted in a best practice guideline for people with long-term suprapubic catheter in the community. Dr Sweeney contributes to NARI’s program of research on continence care as a chief investigator on a MRFF-funded project that aims to improve catheter care in residential aged care homes in Australia.
