Kylie Cochrane BComm, GradCertMgmt, MA Strategic Public Relations Director, NARI Board Kylie Cochrane brings to NARI more than 30 years of communications, engagement, media and marketing experience including 15 years on not for profit and for purpose boards. Kylie currently chairs the Australian National University’s Advisory Board for the Institute for Infrastructure in Society which oversees the NextGen research into community engagement and social risk. She was the Global Chair of the International Association of Public Participation, the professional association for the engagement industry, from 2017-2022 and she was on the Australasian IAP2 Board from 2011-2021. Kylie has been a partner at global engineering and infrastructure advisory firm Aurecon for more than a decade. She built Aurecon’s Engagement business from a single person to one of the leading engagement businesses in Australia and New Zealand. In 2022 Kylie was named one of two inaugural Honorary IAP2 fellows in Australia. She was named a Deloitte Outstanding 50 LGBTI+ leader in 2020.
