We are excited to announce that NARI and our partners are proud recipients of the 2025 Parks and Leisure Australia VIC/TAS Region Research Award! This award recognises our collaborative project, ENJOY MAP for HEALTH, which demonstrates how a tailored, multi-faceted approach—including age-friendly infrastructure, community activation, and capacity-building—can significantly enhance physical activity and park use among older adults.

We extend our sincere thanks to our funding partner, State Trustees, and to our local government and industry collaborators: Knox City Council, City of Boroondara, Banyule City Council, Ballarat City Council, Bayside City Council, Frankston City Council, Lark Industries, and Parks and Leisure Australia VIC/TAS Region.

Many thanks also to the generous sponsor of the award, ETP Turf Professionals.

We’d also like to give a special mention to the many older adult volunteers and community participants who made this work possible.
