Thu Ha Dang is a medical doctor by training and a Master of International Public Health. She is pursuing a PhD in digital health, funded by Australian Digital Health Cooperative Centre. Ha has extensive experience in multinational public health projects, especially projects between Australia and Vietnam.

She has been a core team member in the NHMRC-NAFOSTED grant to develop Vietnam's National Dementia Plan and is currently an AI on the NHMRC-e-ASIA grant to develop iSupport Virtual Assistants for dementia family carers in CALD communities in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Vietnam. She is currently working on the DrawCare project, aiming to improve the lives of CALD family carers and people living with dementia in Australia.
