Research Fellow

Dr Anna Lane is a Research Fellow within the Aged Care and MARC Divisions at NARI, working on the IMproving PAlliative care in Residential aged care using Telehealth (IMPART) and Befriending with GENIE (BwG) projects.

She has extensive experience working in collaborative multidisciplinary teams in Australia and Singapore. Previously, she held positions at ELDAC (End of Life Direction in Aged Care) at Flinders University and the Ageing Urbanism programme at Singapore University of Technology and Design. Her research is focused on ageing and disability, ageing in place, death and dying, and aged care workforce. Her PhD research examined the long-term protective associations proposed between complex occupational tasks and cognitive performance in late life. She has published an edited volume on Urban Environments for Healthy Ageing.
