Strategies for tackling loneliness in Aged Care Half-day workshop Loneliness and social isolation can be harmful to both your physical and mental health. According to the Australian Psychology Society, 1 in 4 people experienced an episode of loneliness, and 1 in 2 reported feeling lonely at least once a week. What strategies can we as health practitioners put into place to prevent older people feeling lonely?
