Webinar recording on hold

About the presentation

Dementia prevalence is increasing and had major health and societal impacts.  There is an absence of available disease modifying treatment which adds even more importance to dementia risk reduction.  One of the most significant modifiable risk factors for dementia in Australia is physical inactivity.  Some research translation projects relating to physical activity will be discussed.  This includes older adults with memory concerns (INDIGO) or mid-life and older adults with mental health and memory concerns (EXCEL). The LEAD! Project which is developing a dementia risk assessment tool will also be briefly discussed.
