Join us for the online launch of our e-DiVA Virtual Assistant. This five-year project aims to improve the lives of family carers and people living with dementia across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Vietnam through a multilingual Virtual Assistant, developed using the World Health Organization (WHO)’s iSupport for Dementia programme.

The project was delivered in collaboration with key partners, including WHO, Alzheimer's Disease International, Dementia Australia, Alzheimer’s New Zealand, Alzheimer Indonesia, the Vietnam Alzheimer Disease & Neurocognitive Disorders Association, and several ethno-specific aged care providers in Australia (Australian Vietnamese Women’s Association, CoAsIt, and CASS). It was jointly funded by the governments of the four e-DiVA countries through the NHMRC e-ASIA Joint Research Program.

The event will be opened by Professor Tracy Comans, and will feature keynote presentations by:

  • Dr Kaele Stokes, Executive Director – Services, Advocacy & Research, Dementia Australia
  • Dr Katrin Seeher, Mental Health Specialist and Dementia Lead, World Health Organization

We will also host a stakeholder panel discussion on the role of digital health in dementia care and support.
