The National Ageing Research Institute Ltd. (NARI), Carers Victoria, Seniors Rights Victoria, and Multicultural Centre for Women's Health (MCWH) have made a Joint Submission to the Victorian Government Parliamentary Inquiry into the Support Needs for Older Victorians from Migrant and Refugee Backgrounds. The submission contained key recommendations on reducing disparities in migrant and refugee communities, improving systems (such as the health, aged care, community, and social care systems), and improving data quality to increase the evidence-base for older migrant and refugee Victorian’s health and wellbeing.

In addition to the written submission, on 31 January 2022 representatives of the four organisations gave video evidence, including a presentation from NARI, to the Inquiry.
