Associate Professor Michael Murray AM, is the President of the NARI Board, the medical director of Continuing Care and head of Geriatric Medicine at Austin Health, Associate Professor at Melbourne University and Adjunct Associate Professor Australian Centre for Evidence Based Aged Care, La Trobe University. Derek McMillan

Derek McMillan is a current Director and former Vice-President of the NARI Board. Mr McMillan is Managing Director of Centennial Living, an operator of retirement villages. He has held Executive and Board positions in Health and Ageing organisations since 1999 including at Australian Unity, the Property Council of Australia and Leading Aged Services Australia – Victoria. Michael Tandora became a Director of the NARI Board in May 2023. He has practised as a commercial litigation solicitor since 2004. He is a Special Counsel at the Australian law firm Mills Oakley. They were co-produced with providers and older people, with funding from the State Trustees Australia Foundation.

  • A Best Practice Model of Continence Care for Residential Aged Care

    This research co-designed and evaluated a best practice model for delivering continence care in Australian residential aged care homes. The model helps residential aged care providers deliver high quality continence care that is consistent with the Aged Care Quality Standard.
