Problem

More and more older Australians are receiving aged care services in their homes in the community. Home care workers provide these services and need a range of knowledge and skills to provide quality care. Providing education and training to these workers has and remains challenging for time, geographical, access and cost reasons.  Technology may provide one solution to this challenge and in particular packaging information in short, sharp formats (known as micro-learning) may be warranted.  This project will evaluate the use of micro-learning (compared to other modes of delivering information) to provide information identified by home care workers that will enable them to provide quality care for older people.
