• Better Balance: An 8 week falls and balance exercise program 
• Initial assessment is required to determine suitability for program 
• Face-to-face

• Allied Health Assistant

Eligibility

1. Must have one (or more) of the following health problems:

• Recent fall
• History of falls
• Risk of falls
• Fear of falls

2. Must live in one of the following areas:

• No catchment area

3. Must have a referral from one of the following:

• Hospital or community-based health professional
• General Practitioner (GP)
• My Aged Care – For all individuals aged 65 and over (50 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander)
•  Self-referral and referral from family members are accepted

Cost

The cost to attend the Falls and Balance Program is $5 per session.
