Sexual health and ageing

Sexual health is an important part of health and wellbeing as people age, yet older people don’t have the same opportunities as their younger counterparts to discuss the topic.

A new Sexual Health & Ageing Perspectives and Education (SHAPE) study involving NARI and the University of Melbourne will be exploring the challenges involved in conversations about sexual health, and how these challenges might be overcome.

Researchers want to hear from people aged 60+, whether sexually active or not, in short one-on-one interviews. Interviews can be done face-to-face or on the phone.
