About the presentation

Clinical guidelines for dementia in Australia were released in 2016 and provide health professionals with recommendations around diagnosis and management of dementia. However, guidelines do not necessarily implement themselves. A/Prof Laver will describe the process and present the results of two national translational research projects which have aimed to improve non-pharmacological care for people with dementia and their carers.
